Hey Brother,

In the peak days of the pickup industry, I got some strange requests.

For example, older virgins would tell me they wanted not just to have sex but to have multiple casual partners.

One even mentioned a specific act he had seen in pornography that he wanted to try in real life.

It seems PUA marketing worked well on these people.

While it's natural for straight guys to want to have sex, it's less clear why someone would aim for such ambitious goals.

There's nothing wrong with dreaming big.

But there’s a difference between a high school athlete wanting to be an Olympian and someone who has never jogged wanting to win a marathon.

The same applies to guys who have avoided women all their life and suddenly want to date multiple women.

Even if they could skip to that point, they have no idea what it involves, so I can’t take such requests seriously.

A couple of years ago, a young guy messaged me on LinkedIn.

He was about to start an engineering degree and wanted some professional advice about his career in software engineering.

He asked a few basic questions that could easily be answered with a quick online search, making me think he was just following some networking advice.

Instead of answering his simple questions, I asked if he had ever written any code. It turned out he hadn’t, so I ignored him after that.

He thought he could learn everything he needed at university, but anyone serious about software engineering starts coding on their own before getting a degree. Most go to university just for the credential.

No matter what you aspire to do, it’s a good idea to try it out first.

Otherwise, you might end up disappointed.

For example, hardcore virgins who barely interact with women should spend more time with them.

This might even lower their unrealistic expectations.

When I was younger, I thought owning a Porsche would be amazing.

I liked the design of the 911 and later the 718 Cayman.

Now, I don't find the 911's design as appealing, but I still like some versions of the 718 Cayman.

I had the chance to sit in a powerful 911 GT once, and honestly, fdoI didn't enjoy it much.

I understand it appeals to people who love sports cars, but I find sitting in a nice Audi, VW, BMW, or Mercedes Benz much more comfortable.

A short ride in a Porsche made me realize that my idea of owning one was unrealistic.

It's like how experiencing sex with a prostitute would bring a virgin back to reality about idealizing sex or women.

Simply put, anything you dream of may not be as great as you imagined.

Before making big plans, try to get some experience with it.

This can save you a lot of time, money, and effort.
